I like to play the devil's advocate or what I like to say looking in the opposite point of view so many was pointing out the obvious that I just wanted to take the opposite approach. I believe the punishment for the child was crazy and this mistake was just overlooked by the parent. The mom had no idea that he took it out the house and he just wanted to eat lunch in a cool way. I felt like maybe a suspension should have been put in place but not for 5 days...let alone reform school. I do feel like the parents might not have made it clear to him about his camping tool or at least made sure if he understands that its not toy. It's obvious that we (society) have no clue on how to protect our children so we just putting anything in place hoping that it works. Sorry it had to get the backlash from it.
No problem...I had fun as well! People can really get intense about these topics. You won't believe the hate mail I'm started to get. Maybe I was a bit harsh but that's what makes it more interesting it just some really took it overboard about me as a person. They don't even know me. Oh well, til next time =)I bet you don't really know my honest opinion on this situation...lol
